Never having made a gingerbread house, I'm curious. Was the gingerbread still edible? Or had it dried out too much to be eaten? I bet everyone had a great time demolishing the house, though, at the same time, it would have been hard to see all your hard work going under the hammer!
Well, the building gingerbread isn't very tasty, but it lasts a long time, so yes, they ate some of it. I think the kids were more interested in the candy decorations. Personally, I like getting the space back (I had three gingerbread houses in my office!), but I think it's easy to let go when you have pictures on the blog. :)
