The Oresteia

(Burger?) King Agamemnon

The Emperor and I have been reading through the Oresteia with Leena, Choclo and Oob.  If you're wondering if 12 is a bit young, we do summarize some of the long chunks of the Chorus.




And we have a lot of fun!  So far, we've finished Agamemnon and The Libation Bearers, and we're just about to start my favorite, The Eumnides.

 We did this with the older kids a while ago.

Choclo played Agamemnon and a number of smaller parts,  Leena played Clytemnestra and Electra, Oob played Orestes and some other small parts, and The Emperor and I do the Chorus and a few other parts.
