I'd never heard of this carol before. We tend to hear the same small collection of carols each year. I really love listening to older and lesser known ones. Thank you for sharing!
I love obscure carols, too - they are so often beautiful and theologically rich! I have a CD from Theater of Voices called "Carols from the Old and New Worlds" that I love. That's where I found both the carols I've posted.
That's also why I enjoyed your daughter's carol so much.
