Last Gospel Dessert

Last Sunday was Palm Sunday, and I had several requests NOT to make the dessert a Palm Sundae. 

Kids!  Who can figure?

Anyway, the palm in the picture is a giant sugar cookie stuffed with apricot paste.  Or maybe two giant sugar cookies with the apricot paste baked in the middle.  And green sugar.

We ate it with ice cream sundaes, so it was a palm sundae after all.  Hah!

But there were no complaints!
