It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing

Mxyl, Klenda and Leena went off swing dancing this weekend!

Zorg was off at the Polar Plunge, or he would have gone, too.

The dance was a fundraiser for a crisis pregnancy center, and the Polar Plunge is a fundraiser for Special Olympics.

A very nice time was had by all!

Here's a version with Ella Fitzgerald!

Wendy,

You have some good looking young people! I love your girls' dresses. I also love the feeling of a swirling skirt. I can remember twirling around and around, as a child, just to make my skirt float out. I guess most little girls do this! Imogen and Charlotte tried swing dancing at a Catholic youth gathering last year. They had lots of fun. Charlotte, who is very short, was paired with a very tall young man which made dancing extra interesting!

I still love a twirly skirt!

Having 2 boys and 2 girls of roughly equal sizes interested at the same time has been wonderful! I have a poor sense of rhythm, so dancing is another thing that I'm always amazed to see my kids doing with such grace. So fun!

Thanks for stopping by to chat! :)
